Aqua Card
The Aqua credit card is from MasterCard. The Aqua card has a lot to offer a person looking for a new credit card, depending on what you are looking for. The first thing you will notice about this card is the extremely high interest rate. The interest rate is 33.9 percent annual. This is one of the highest interest rates for credit cards on the market. It is also going to be one of the reasons you shouldn’t have this card in your wallet. However, there are other things to make this card look appealing.
For those who have had credit problems in the past such as county court judgements, if you are self employed, or working part time, this card can be offered to you. They do not guarantee that everyone will be approved, but they try to make it a little easier for the approval process if you have had issues or are currently in a riskier situation. Basically the high interest rate is because they are offering the card to those who pose a higher risk to their company. Part of our review shows that this card can be used for improving your credit so that you can obtain a better deal in the future.
The Aqua credit card doesn’t have an annual fee. They also offer a small credit line of 2,200 pounds. The small credit line is offered to help you reaffirm your credit status rather than to make purchases. If you use the card for purchases and you pay them off in full and on time every month, you can have 51 days interest free on your purchases. In other words when you make a purchase, if you have paid the balance off in full and on time, you won’t be charged interest for up to 51 days on the new purchase.
All credit cards are offering 24 hour help for any problems and questions, so this is not a big deal for the Aqua cards and should be considered only minimally.
Another aspect of the Aqua card that makes it look beneficial is the flexible payment dates. You can choose one time to have the payment date moved with this card to make the payment more manageable. Like most cards they do have a minimum monthly payment that you will have to meet in order to keep the card.
The Aqua MasterCard doesn’t have an introductory period of no interest on balance transfers or purchases. In fact you have to request permission to transfer a balance. They don’t always let a balance transfer occur because of the situation you may be in. It is also unwise as the interest rate is one of the highest.
This card should be used for one purpose as our review shows. It is great for helping to get your life back on track or starting your credit history, but it is not a card used for lowering debt. The card should only be accepted for its helpful terms rather than monetary need.
