Arsenal Credit Card
Arsenal is just one of the many credit cards offered in the market today. The Arsenal card is offered by MBNA as a MasterCard. This is one of the only cards left on the current market offering a decent interest rate with introductory benefits. Arsenal receives royalties from MBNA to help raise funds for Youth Development Programmes at their academy. These royalties are no extra cost for the owner of the card, but do come about for you having the card.
In this review we will look at what the card has to offer and then help you decide if the offer is worth switching cards or getting a new card. First you have an introductory rate on balance transfers where you will pay zero percent for 12 months. There is a 3 percent handling fee or charge for the balance transfer to occur. This 3 percent fee is standard among many of the UK credit cards.
You also have the option of zero percent interest on credit card purchases for three months. This introductory offer starts from the date that your account is opened. After the three months is over you will be charged an interest rate of 15.9 percent. The interest rate is variable and can change, depending on the companies practices. This is also the same rate for balance transfers after the introductory period of twelve months is over. The annual percentage rate is one of the lowest currently offered through credit card companies. If you compare credit cards such as the Arsenal to the American Express, you see that the American Express has at least a 1 percent higher interest rate and as much as 3 percent.
This card offers reward points. The reward points are earned for every pound you spend on purchases. You will receive one point per pound. The rewards can be a lunch with a famous person at the Arsenal training grounds or other offers. The arsenal card doesn’t have an annual fee. You are not responsible for any theft of your card in which charges are made. You can also have 56 days of free interest if you pay your balance off in full and on time each month.
The Arsenal card is accepted in more than 20 million retail locations and 1 million ATM’s for a fee. They also have 24 hour customer service. These last few things are pretty standard among other cards, so they just add weight to the other benefits this card can offer you. The Arsenal card is just one of a few still offering an introductory rate to their new customers. The fact that you also earn rewards points and have a lower annual percentage rate makes this card one of the better ones on the market.
There are of course a few things that detract from the card like the fees for the balance transfer, and the time limit, but you are still getting a zero percent interest on the transfers to help you pay off your debts.
