Celtic Credit Card
The Celtic Rewards credit card is a MasterCard. If you are interested in this card you will want to continue reading to see the benefits and whether they are worthwhile. There are hundreds of credit card offers online. It can sometimes be difficult to choose the correct card unless you read a review of the card.
- The first thing the Celtic Rewards card has is the balance transfer introductory rate. This rate is offered for twelve months from the date the account is open. For a balance transfer done in the first 60 days of the account being open, you will have zero percent interest for 12 months. This offer is not exclusive. There are other cards offering the 12 months with zero percent interest. There will be a 3 percent handling fee. This is the highest handling fee a credit card company can charge. There are other deals with a 2.5 percent fee or they have waived the fee.
- Next you have an introductory deal on purchases. The purchase deal is zero percent interest on purchases for three months. This is also from the date the account is opened and not from the date you receive the card.
- After the introductory periods are over you will be charged 15.9 percent interest, which is variable. Note that this interest rate states after three months on purchases and after 12 months on balance transfers. The 15.9 percent interest rate is normal. Most of the cards on the market are offering 15.9 percent or 16.9 percent. There are lower interest rates available; however the restrictions on those applications are tight.
- The Celtic Rewards Visa is a rewards credit card for the Celtic team. In other words when you spend money on purchases you will receive reward points towards the Celtic Season tickets, merchandise, and other purchases to do with the Celtic’s. You can even earn rewards for lunch with the manager or a tour of Lennoxtown with a Celtic Legend.
- The Celtic Rewards card doesn’t have an annual fee.
- You do have a minimum payment that you must make. There are also other charges associated with the card which are typical of most credit cards.
If you are a fan of the Celtic team then this may be a card for you. The fact that there are introductory rates to go with the card does make it appealing. The interest rate is one of the lower ones on the market. While there may be some cards out there that are better, this one is geared towards something you might find useful, like the rewards for lunches or other merchandise discounts. When choosing a card you have to weigh what is important to you. If you are comparing cards this review has found the rates, fees, and other aspects of the card to compare well with others on the market. Like other cards you do have to double check that the introductory rates are still available.
