Chelsea FC Credit Card

The Chelsea FC card is one of the numerous credit card offers on the market today.  Football is a huge sport in the UK and recognizing this, many credit card companies have begun to offer cards that relate to the sport in some way.  When you search for credit card offers there should be a few things you look for in a card.  In this review we are going to look at the benefits and disadvantages of having this card.

• Balance Transfers:  Many credit cards on the market have a balance transfer introductory rate.  The Chelsea Football Club card is no different.  They have a period of zero percent interest for twelve months.  This rate is standard for most credit card offers at the moment. 
• Purchases:  About half of the cards on the market at the moment have purchase introductory rates.  With the Chelsea Football Card you have zero percent interest on purchases for three months.  This term is also a standard period for the credit cards. 
• Both the balance transfers and purchase rates are going to begin from the date the account is opened.  After the introductory period ends the purchase rate is 15.9 percent as is the balance transfer annual percentage rate.  This 15.9 percent is a standard variable rate and competitive.  Many of the credit cards are offering this rate or one percent higher.

This card has so far shown the same type of deal with the same restrictions applying to the deal that other cards have.  The Chelsea Football Club credit card is through Citibank.  It is also a MasterCard which is the second largest credit card brand in the world at the moment.  This means you have millions of retailers and ATM’s around the world in which you can use the card.  The Chelsea Football Club doesn’t have an annual fee, and the other fees it has are comparable to the other credit card offers.

The Chelsea Football Club card is a little different than other offers.  First of all it is a football card, and while there are others like it they are always specific to a certain club or football team.  The Chelsea Football Club works in the club for rewards and merchandise discounts.  You will earn 1 reward point for every pound you spend.  These reward points can be redeemed for club benefits such as meeting someone in the professional football world, having lunch with someone special, or just discounts in the club.

This card is great if you want to be about the Chelsea club for football rewards.  The rest of the card being offered is the same as a dozen of other offers on the market.  This card isn’t good for travel rewards such as flights, hotel, or car rentals unless related to a football trip and special discounts.  When choosing a card if you are not a football fan this wouldn’t really do much for you, but for those of you who love the game this could be right up your ally.
