EasyJet Credit Card
There are numerous credit card offers on the market. It can be hard to decide what credit card will fit best in your life. There are many factors that you have to consider when choosing a card. You can’t just look at the annual percentage rate and decide that it is the right card. The benefits are really what make the card stand apart from the hundreds of other offers. In this article we are reviewing the EasyJet card to determine if it is a decent card.
- The EasyJet credit card is from Citibank and it is a MasterCard brand. The MasterCard brand is in the top two brands being accepted worldwide, which makes it one of the best cards to have for the logo.
- The EasyJet credit card like its name has rewards that can help you earn flights. The flight rewards are a little different than other cards as there are specific ways that you can use the card. Most cards just allow rewards of 1 point per pound spent at specific stores or in general purchases. The EasyJet card offers three ways to earn the rewards miles. First, if you make a purchase in the UK for every pound you spend you earn 1 point. If you make a purchase abroad you will earn 2 miles for every 2 pounds you spend. When you use the card for EasyJet merchandise you earn 3 miles for every 3 pounds you spend. It is a little different in that you need to spend at least 3 pounds to get the 3 pounds. For example you couldn’t spend just one pound in the EasyJet store and get 1 point. This is the main difference on the card, but it does have others.
- If you spend 250 pounds in the first 90 days you will earn an EasyJet flight.
- This card has a balance transfer deal in which you have zero percent interest for nine months. The nine months start from the date the account is opened, not when you receive the card. The term of this balance transfer is three months shorter than the average offer on the market at the moment. You are still going to need to pay the 3 percent handling fee as well.
- This card doesn’t have a purchase offer with the deal. In other words there is no zero percent interest when you first get the card. Like other cards, if you pay off the balance every month on time, you get a grace period of 56 days of interest free, but this happens only after 6 months of paying on time and in full.
- The interest rate associated with this account is 16.9 percent. This is average for the other cards. The interest rates fluctuate between 15.9 and 16.9 percent with a few others in either direction.
By looking at the card offer you will find a better rewards card out there for introductory rates, interest rates and how you earn miles. The miles are good on EasyJet, which may make the choice for you.
