England Football Credit Card

Football is perhaps the top sport in the UK.  There are of course other sports, but on the whole when you are looking for credit cards that will reward you for your interest in sports, the football cards are about it.  Credit card deals are plentiful and some of them can be really great if you know what to look for.  The benefits for certain features on cards will remain pretty much the same. However, most cards have a specific reward or no reward that will set it about from the others.

The England Football MasterCard does have a special feature that sets it apart from the other deals on the market.  It is a card geared towards football, but it doesn’t have benefits that are directed towards you in a specific sense.  There are certainly discounts that you can get for football merchandise and on tickets throughout the year, but the actual purpose of the card is to contribute to football.  When you use your card on any purchase a donation will go to football for improving gear, stadiums, and just football in general.  It basically goes to the company.  So you can see right away that it is not the best card if you are looking for something for you personally.  There are other benefits that may decide that this card is the best for you.  Let’s take a look at those.

The England football card does have a balance transfer introductory rate for new customers.  For 12 months you will have zero percent interest on any balance you transfer within the first 60 days of the account opening date.  This benefit is par for the course.  There are plenty of other cards on the market that have this introductory rate, including football cards that are geared towards a specific football team in which you can get discount tickets, merchandise, and other rewards.

This football credit card also has an introductory rate on purchases.  For the first three months of the account opening date you will have zero percent interest on your purchases.  This is also a typical reward for most of the cards with introductory deals and some of the other football rewards cards.  The annual percentage rate after the introductory period is 15.9 percent.  This is for both purchases and balance transfers.  This is not the lowest rate we have seen on the market, but it is average and what most cards are offering.

So far this card has shown us that it is about average for benefits.  There is no annual fee and the account services are the same as other companies.  As we mentioned above this card is set apart from others on the market by the football donations your purchases help to make.  You are making the donations at no real cost to you if you use the card correctly.  There are also chances to win benefits towards football or get discount coupons for just having the card, though they are not specified on the site.
