England Rugby Credit Card

The England Rugby Visa card is one of the only cards on the market geared towards Rugby rewards.  This card has several benefits that you may find to your liking.  We are going to explain the benefits of this card and take a look at how they hold up to other offers.

First the England Rugby Visa card has an introductory rate on balance transfers.  This deal is zero percent interest for the first twelve months for balance transfers.  After the introductory period is over you will be charged 15.9 percent APR on all other balance transfers.  This rate and deal are the same as many of the offers on the market.  In fact there are at least 20 other credit cards offering the same balance transfer deal.

Next you have zero percent interest on purchases for three months.  After this time you will be charged 15.9 percent on the purchases you make.  Both the purchase and balance transfer deals start at the date the account is opened and not when you receive the card.  The interest rate as well as the purchase deal is the same as at least ten other cards on the market at the moment.  Some of the other cards may have the balance transfer deal and not the purchase deal, so this can be a step up depending on how you want to use the card.  The interest rate is one of the finest on the market and it is standard among most cards.

The England Rugby card differs after you look at the introductory benefits and interest rate from all other cards on the market.  They have rewards that are for Rugby only.  In other words it is not a football card, flight miles card, or cash back rewards card.  With this card you have discounts off of Official England Rugby gear and other retail items related to Rugby.  You will also have a 15 percent discount on club memberships.

This visa card will not charge an annual fee.  The other fees associated with the account such as the balance transfer handling fee and other charges are the same percentage as all other cards.  This card also offers you the same allocation of payments as other cards, this means that you are paying off the lowest interest accruing amount first and then the other higher interest rates last.  In other words cash withdrawals are the last to be paid off because they are the highest interest.

Overall when you view this card you will notice a lot of the benefits are similar to other cards on the market.  The only difference is the rewards you will earn and how those rewards are earned.  If you are a Rugby fan this is one of the best cards to have.  If you need the card just for balance transfer purposes it is a good card to have.  There are some deals that may be better if you qualify for them, but they have tight restrictions, making this perhaps an easier card to obtain.
