Newcastle United Credit Card

Newcastle United is a MasterCard.  This is a personal card rather than a business card.  You will discover through this article the benefits this personal card can offer you.  We will review the options to help you make a decision about your next credit card.

MasterCard is the second largest logo to be received around the world.  When you have a MasterCard you know there are at least a million retailers, restaurants, and other locations that will accept the card.  That is one benefit in favour for this card.  There are other benefits such as the introductory rates that are offered on balance transfers and purchases.

For balance transfers you have zero percent interest for 12 months.  Along with the intro rates there is a 3 percent handling fee for the transfer to go through.  To take advantage of the introductory rate you need to transfer the money within the first few weeks of the account being open.  See the terms and conditions regarding the specifics.  If you don’t transfer the money soon enough you will lose the offer.  You also need to abide by the rules.  The date the account is opened is when this offer starts.  You also will be required to make on time payments for at least the minimum amount in order to keep the balance transfer benefit.

There is also a benefit for purchases.  You will have a zero percent interest rate for the first three months from the time the account is opened.  This is typical of the cards offering the same benefits.  There are about thirty cards offering the same benefits regarding the introductory offer to choose from.  Some of those cards are also business cards.  The point is this is not a unique feature.  When reviewing a card you have to look for the unique to make your decision.

The Newcastle United card doesn’t have an annual fee.  It does have a standard annual percentage rate, though.  This APR is 15.9 percent.  It is also in range with its competitors.  Many cards try to offer similar options to make it easier to gain your business with a cursory glance.  This interest rate is subject to approval.  The application process will state whether you will receive this rate and how to qualify for the rate.  There are specific things like a good credit rating to get this rate.

Next the Newcastle United card has a rewards programme.  This rewards programme works in that you will earn one point for every pound you spend.  You can spend your money on any item to get these rewards.  Some cards will restrict how you can earn the rewards, like saying only purchases on petrol will earn you the rewards.  The rewards will be used for specific options though.  You can earn vouchers, discounts, and points towards certain specials the company may be offering during the year.  These offers can change.  The rewards programme is what makes this card a little unique.  Again there are others on the market, so taking a deeper look may be needed.
