Reading Football Club credit card is one of the football credit cards available.  There are several other options for supporting your favourite football team or any football team.  This card does have a great offer associated with it regarding the rewards and benefits.  It is really no different than other football cards other than it is geared to the Reading team rather than a different team.

• Balance Transfers: Balance transfers are available on virtually every card.  There are some cards due to the restrictions like bad credit credit cards that may not accept a balance transfer, but on the whole credit cards allow for this option.  The Reading card offers balance transfer options, especially to their new consumers.  They have an introductory rate of zero percent for 12 months.  This rate is offered when you make a transfer within the first few weeks of opening the card.  There is a 3 percent handling fee associated with any balance transfer, even during the intro period.  If you are going to use the card not for rewards, but to transfer a balance this is a great way to go about it.  You should never use a card for both purchases and balance transfers when you have this kind of deal.  The balance transfer promotional amount will always be paid off first.
• This card offers a purchase special as well.  For the first three months, starting from the date the account is opened, you have zero percent interest on purchases.  This amount will be paid off second and could accrue interest if you have a large balance you are working on to minimize.  Once the intro period is over you will be charged 15.9 percent annual percentage rate. 
• The percentage rate on the balance transfers and purchases is in the average rate. Most of the football cards and other intro offers have this same interest rate. You will also discover that the rate is standard and variable.  This means it is subject to changes as you have the account.  It could rise or even lower depending on the issuer. 
• The rewards that you can earn are directly related to the football team.  You will earn one point for every pound you spend.  You can earn more points at certain times when a promotion is going on for merchandise sales related to the team.  The rewards are usually lunches, ticket discounts, and tours of the complex.  There are prizes and a few other choices that may be available throughout the life of the account as well.  These rewards can change according to the card issuer.

As you can see from the information above the offer is standard for football cards.  The leading reason to choose this card over another is the football team it represents.  The other cards are specific as well or you can try the general England Football card.  The point is it is great for balance transfers or purchases towards football items that you might be interested in.
