Sheffield United Credit Card
Sheffield United is an interest credit card in that it is setup for rewards for the team. When you use the card to spend, a percentage of that goes to support the team. There are prizes that you can earn through the card, but there is not a rewards point programme in which you can earn great deals. These offers are generally prizes or discounts offered because you belong to the Sheffield Club.
The Sheffield Club card is a MasterCard. It can be accepted in millions of retailers around the world, so it makes a great vacation card. There are other features that may make this card attractive, but it is certainly not the best on the market. It is just one of the best. You need to decide if the rewards are worth it based on the features below in this review.
There are more than twenty credit card offers on the market offering an introductory rate for purchases and balance transfers. This card has a purchase rate of zero percent for the first three months. This begins when the account is opened and not when you receive the card. It is a typical offer and competitive. The balance transfer is also competitive and typical. You have 12 months of zero percent interest as long as you transfer the amount within the first few weeks of opening the account. You will also have up to a 3 percent handling fee with the transfer. As you can see it is a typical card. This doesn’t make it bad, just difficult to distinguish from others.
The annual percentage rate after the intro period is 15.9 percent. This is the leading annual percentage rate on the market. When you apply for the card you are not guaranteed this rate, but you can be guaranteed a card. The company reserves the right to have specific qualifications for the application and if you are not in that range you could have a higher interest rate or lose some of the perks. It is just a standard variable rate.
There is no annual fee with this card. You also have typical fees for other features on the card. The cash withdrawal is 27.9 percent which makes it extremely expensive to use the card that way. When you are searching for a credit card knowing what you are going to use it for will help you find the best card. If you want team rewards towards Sheffield’s then you will want this card. It is the only card offering this option. The other options are standard. There are cards with better balance transfer options such as a certain annual percentage rate for the life of the balance. Those work if you can’t pay it off in 12 months. However, if you can pay the balance off in twelve months orless this is a good card to use for that purpose. As a purchase card it makes most sense to take advantage of the intro rates offered.
